Prime Time? Oh no!

Saturday, November 8, 2008 ·

The Andy Reid era started with a 16-1 record in primetime games. Since losing a pointless game in 2004 to the Rams, the Eagles have gone 2-12 to now own a 18-13 primetime record under Andy Reid. [Camden Courier Post]

It gets even worse because the Eagles are currently on a 7-game losing streak in primetime games, including two losses this season to the Cowboys and Bears. It could be a matter of coincidence and their opponents, but the birds really need to get a win on Sunday's primetime game against the Giants.

A win means the NFC East division race is wide open and it keeps us in the hunt for an over .500 record in the division. A win gets us to 6-3 and keeps in the hunt for a wild card spot. A win keeps us from falling 0-3 in the division and 4-4 in the conference. When you lose the teams you should beat in the Bears and Redskins, it sets this Giants game up to be a must-win.

Check in tomorrow morning for a preview to the huge NFC East battle.

A small introduction...

We Hate to Lose began in October 2007. The initial purpose of the website was to provide news updates and commentary on all four major sports teams in Philadelphia. Because of time-constraints, in April of 2009, I decided to post only on my first-love, the Philadelphia Phillies.

My name is Justin Evans and I hope you enjoy the site.
