Villanova Wins! What a comeback!

Friday, December 7, 2007 ·

Last night, Villanova went on a 35-13 run against LSU to erase a 21 point deficit and earn a victory at the Wachovia Center. I was there last night and the old saying goes, "its never over until its over". The Wildcats comeback run was led by freshman guard Malcolm Grant who scored 14 points in the final 3 minutes and scored 7 points in 14 seconds. Dante Cunnigham put back a Grant miss with 6 seconds left to give Villanova their first lead of the game, the final score 68-67.

Nova missed 15 of their first 20 shots. They also shot terrible from the first half. Scottie Reynolds and Reggie Redding combined for 3-18 shooting.

It was definitely one of the best first-hand experiences I've ever been a part of. I stick my motto of not leaving a game until it is officially over.

A small introduction...

We Hate to Lose began in October 2007. The initial purpose of the website was to provide news updates and commentary on all four major sports teams in Philadelphia. Because of time-constraints, in April of 2009, I decided to post only on my first-love, the Philadelphia Phillies.

My name is Justin Evans and I hope you enjoy the site.
