Kobe's Coming to Town!

Wednesday, December 3, 2008 ·

Tonight, the Sixers will host the Los Angeles Lakers. Kobe and friends come into town with a 14-2 record, the best in basketball. Oh, one of their losses happened last night by way of a Troy Murphy tip-in at the buzzer.

The Sixers, on the other hand, won in overtime over the Chicago Bulls after surrendering a late lead. Andre Miller scored 9 of his season-high 28 points in the overtime period to pace the Sixers to their 103-95 win. Elton Brand added another double-double scoring 22 and adding 14 rebounds.

Andre Iguodala score over 19 points for the first time all year when he hit for 25 on 11-19 shooting. The Sixers shot poorly as a team, but they finally mustered out a win to snap their 4 game losing streak. They're not 8-10 on the season.

Hopefully, the Sixers will finally turn the corner with the new month of December and they'll pull out a victory tonight on their home floor.

The game will begin @ 7pm on Comcast Sportnet.

A small introduction...

We Hate to Lose began in October 2007. The initial purpose of the website was to provide news updates and commentary on all four major sports teams in Philadelphia. Because of time-constraints, in April of 2009, I decided to post only on my first-love, the Philadelphia Phillies.

My name is Justin Evans and I hope you enjoy the site.
