Mike Knuble scored two goals, including the late game-winner to help the Flyers defeat the Dallas Stars 4-3. Knuble has joined Jeff Carter and Simon Gagne to become the Flyers third double-digit goal scorer with 10.
Scottie Upshall started the scoring early, but the Stars and Flyers would trade goals back and forth until the eventual Knuble game-winner. Jeff Carter scored his 15th goal of the night after a great check by Luca Sbisa and a great pass from Scott Hartnell.
Marty Biron stopped 22 of 25 shots, allowing 2 goals by Mike Modano. Biron is now 8-5-1 on the season. The Flyers improved to 10-6-4 and they're now tied (in points) with the Devils for third in the Atlantic and 6th in the Eastern Conference.
