I can understand if you're a nobody that never plays the game, but even the casual fan knows that an NFL's sudden death overtime can end in a tie. Seriously. This team is just so lost right now.
How can you be a professional starting quarterback and not know about the rules of the NFL? Oh wait, this is Donovan McNabb. He doesn't know the clock continues to run when you fail to get out of bounds or when you throw an incomplete pass during the two-minute drill either.
The worst part is that McNabb was not the only Eagles that didn't know. Buckhalter and Lewis needed to be informed by the trainer.
Check in tomorrow for some more on this abysmal performance. It'll probably be fairly short compared to other posts. There is no point over-analyzing this game.
The short of it is: This team seriously sucks. There you have it.
