Briere: Ahead of Schedule?

Thursday, November 6, 2008 ·

Flyers forward Daniel Briere might be returning to the Flyers ahead of schedule. The Flyers have gone 4-1 in Briere's absence, but his addition will improve the team. He, like the rest of the forwards, need to work harder to play at both ends of the rink. The fans are complaining about the blue line, but it is the forwards lack of effort in the neutral zone and their own that is helping Flyers' opponents have easier opportunities to score.

The Flyers are tops in scoring per game, so that is not an issue. If they don't work harder to limit their opponents' chances, they'll continue to lose games 5-4, 7-6, etc.

Tonight, the Flyers will face @ 7:30PM against the Senators in Ottawa.
