Amaro's Front Office

Yesterday, the Philadelphia Phillies announced Ruben Amaro's front office.

Benny Looper - new assistant GM in charge of player personnel. He will oversee scouting and player development areas.

Chuck Lamar - promoted to assistant GM, player development & scouting. His main duty is to manage the player development department.

Mike Ondo - promoted to pro scout coordinator. He will be in charge of scouting reports and statistical analysis.

Dallas Green - senior advisor to GM

Charley Kerfeld - special assistant to GM

Gordon Lakey - director, major league scouting

Steve Nowortya - director, minor league operations

Marti Wolever - director, scouting

Pat Gillick - advisor to Ruben Amaro, Jr and club president David Montgomery.

It'll be interesting to see how the new staff handles what seems to be a tough offseason. Expectations will remain high for the team and the Phillies have to make sure they do not jeapordize themselves not only for next year's success, but also to maintain a quality club for the future.

My first recommendation: DO NOT TRADE FOR MATT HOLLIDAY!
