Phillies Falter

Tuesday, September 23, 2008 ·

Figures, I bought playoff tickets today and now I am getting nervous. The Phillies magic # remains @ 4 after tonight's disappointing loss to the Atlanta Braves.

The Mets won 6-2, but the Brewers are losing at this moment 3-2 in the bottom of the 6th.

If the Brewers do indeed lose, the magic # to clinch a playoff spot goes to 2.

Up 1.5, the Phillies still control their own destiny.

This team needs to put up more runs for Cole and his next start will likely be Sunday if the game matters.

4 games left.

Sorry there will be no real recap tonight, I have some other business to take care off.

i'm so tired of the phillies offense being completely lifeless when cole pitches. it must be very frustrating for cole when he picks up losses like this

It doesn't help when Cole throws his shitty curveball to lefties and throws balls into left field either.

Maybe the team doesn't give Cole run support because of his prima donna comments in the past.
