Lou Williams on Board for 5 more!

Friday, August 1, 2008 ·

The Sixers offseason gets better by the day. According to Phil Jasner, Louis Williams has agreed to a five year, $25 million deal to remain with the 76ers.

It's a good deal for Louis," Merle Scott, Williams' agent, told the Daily News. "It gives him a chance to grow with a team that's building and allows him to stay with the team he came into the league with."
This is such a great move for the 76ers who have pretty much solidified their depth in the front court and back court. Stefanski expects this team to run at least 10 deep.

Also, I was listening to Ed Stefanski today on ESPN1450 Atlantic City, and when he asked about new uniforms, he said that the 76ers will be moving more and more back to red, white, and blue uniforms. He pretty much laughed at the fact that they have included black in their uniform. Also, he said at some point they will likely return to their 1980s logo.
