Lohse Outpitches Former Team

Kyle Lohse (8-2) went 8 strong innings against his former team, giving up 2 runs on 4 hits and 2 walks. He also struck out 3. The Cardinals went on to win 3-2. Pat Burrel homered for the Phillies, his 18 of the year. He and Ryan Howard were the only position players to get a hit. Eaton helped his own cause with 2 hits.
