Brad Lidge Named NL Comeback Player of the Year

Tuesday, September 30, 2008 ·

After converting 41 straight saves for the Phillies this year, Brad Lidge was named the NL Comeback player of the year.

Since his downfall from the "home run", Lidge worked his way back to an elite level of closers and he was the only one who was perfect with his save opportunities this year. Cleveland's Cliff Lee took home the honors for the American League.

Let's just hope he continues his perfection.

My name is Justin Evans and I hope you enjoy the site.
