Jamie Moyer went 6 fantastic innings as he he gave up 2 runs on 4 hits and 1 walk, striking out 3, to beat the Marlins 4-2. His record no improves to 9-6 on the year. He was backed up by longballs from Ryan Howard and Geoff Jenkins, thier 29th and 8th respectively.

The Phillies now move into sole posession of first place when the Reds ended the Mets 10 game win steeak with a 5-2 victory. Kyle Kendrick (8-3, 4.47) will take the mound for the Phillies today as he faces Scott Olsen (5-4, 3.77) of the Marlins.
