Sixers Making it Look Easy

Sunday, March 9, 2008 ·

The 76ers are winning the games they're supposed to win and continuing to expand their 7th spot lead in the conference. Today, the Sixers beat the Bucks in another blowout fashion 119-97. Rookie Thaddeus Young has continued his scorching hot play by scoring a career high 22 points on 8-11 shooting. In the 76ers 4 games thus far in March, Young is averaging 16.3 points and 5.5 boards, all while shooting 77.1% from the field. Nice pick Billy King. Young is more suited to play small forward, but he has played phenomenal defense at both the 3 and the 4 position.

Samuel Dalembert, after saying he wasn't having fun, added 18 points and 10 rebounds. Dalembert how can you not be having fun? The Sixers have won four straight and in their last three have one by more than twenty points in each game.

ESPN's John Hollinger feels that the Sixers have a 93.5% chance of making the playoffs. Also, they have a 2.7% chance of making the finals and a 1% chance of winning the whole thing, both better than the two teams in front of them, the Cavaliers and Wizards. The 76ers are now only a half-game out of the 6th seed, which would set them up for a match-up with the Orlando Magic.

Highlights when they become available.

A small introduction...

We Hate to Lose began in October 2007. The initial purpose of the website was to provide news updates and commentary on all four major sports teams in Philadelphia. Because of time-constraints, in April of 2009, I decided to post only on my first-love, the Philadelphia Phillies.

My name is Justin Evans and I hope you enjoy the site.
