Flyers Blanked Again

In back to back games, the Flyers have failed to solve Rangers backup goaltender Steve Valiquette as he saved all 31 shots fired at him. The Flyers have been outscored 6-0 by the Rangers in their last two home games against them.

Also, the Flyers will now be without defenseman Braydon Coburn who needs to have emergency surgery on a glut muscle in his leg.

There were some positives as the Flyers won 3 fights to the Rangers 1 victory and we saw the return of Joffrey Lupul. Lupul played great and outside of his previous hot scoring touch, you would have never thought he missed or game.

Overall, the Flyers were outplayed to the puck for most of the game. They better find a way to rebound tomorrow against now first-place Pittsburgh.
